The Versatile Bravo 700: An Icon of Brazilian Aviation
The Bravo 700 is a light multipurpose aircraft, manufactured by the Brazilian aviation company Aerobravo Indústria Aeronáutica Ltda, based in Belo Horizonte. This model marked the inaugural project for the company, founded in 1993, and made its first flight that same year, quickly establishing itself in the market.
Technical Features and Robust Design
This two-seater aircraft is distinguished by its all-metal construction, featuring a strut-braced high-wing monoplane design with fixed tricycle landing gear and a nose wheel. Powered by a 100 hp (75 kW) Rotax 912ULS engine, the Bravo 700 offers reliable performance for various applications.
In addition to the primary engine, the Bravo 700 allows for the installation of other propulsion options. These include the 80 hp Rotax 912UL, the 115 hp Rotax 914 Turbo, or the 100 hp Rotax 912iS, providing operators with flexibility.
The Bravo 700 features a spacious cabin, integrated with a baggage compartment, offering comfort for the crew. The seats are arranged side-by-side, and for pilot safety, the cabin is surrounded by a protective structure made of 4130 chromoly steel.
Production and Specialized Variants
Production of the Aero Bravo 700 continued until 2017 and was available in two forms: as a fully assembled aircraft and as kits for self-assembly. Beyond the basic version, an agricultural variant, the Bravo 700 Agricola, was developed, equipped with a 140-liter tank designed for chemicals, thus expanding its operational capabilities.
