Che-24

Posted on June 6, 2026 By

The Che-24 is a further development of the light two-to-three-seater Che-23 amphibian aircraft, featuring a new GA(W)-1 profile wing that ensures higher flight performance. It is equipped with a single 100 hp Rotax 912USL engine, using either a three-blade fixed-pitch (ground-adjustable) ВК-5у propeller or a three-blade variable-pitch Airmaster AP332 propeller.

A configuration with the Rotax-912iS fuel-injected engine, a Ермак-17 variable-pitch propeller, and an EFIS MGL Explorer 10″ digital flight navigation system is also available.

Versatility and Ease of Use

The Che-24 combines all the advantages of a full-fledged two-seater aircraft, while being as light and convenient as ultralight aircraft. It is a very simple aircraft, yet it can perform very complex tasks. Thanks to its low flight hour cost, it can be successfully used in commercial activities.

The optimal combination of reasonable cost and ease of piloting makes this seaplane particularly attractive for those just beginning to master the basics of flight. The model is excellently suited for training. Onboard the Che-24, 2 people and 30 kg of cargo can be comfortably accommodated, with a non-stop flight range of 900 km.

Development and Availability

It was developed and is produced by OOO “Gidrosamolet” (Executive Director – Anton Kravchenko).

The first flight of the experimental Che-24 was performed in August 2010, and the first takeoff from water was on October 19, 2010. In August 2012, the Che-24 was offered for sale by the manufacturer as an amphibian aircraft with standard options at a price of 4.57 million rubles.

The Che-26 Modification

The Che-26 is a modification of the Che-24 with two Sauer 650 engines, each producing 70 hp, equipped with three-blade fixed-pitch ВК-Ш2 propellers or three-blade variable-pitch NEUFORM propellers. Flight tests of the experimental Che-26 were planned to begin in winter 2012–2013. In August 2012, the Che-26 was offered for sale by the manufacturer at a price of 5.07 million rubles.
