The Candiana GV1 is a light multi-purpose aircraft developed by the Italian company Jeof S.r.l. The prototype’s maiden flight took place in 1995. This model is primarily designed for amateur self-assembly.
Design and Powerplant
The Jeof Candiana is a two-seater, strut-braced high-wing monoplane. It is powered by a four-cylinder Sax 86 engine, which is a modification of the Fiat Fire 1.4 automotive engine.
This engine delivers either 86 or 96 horsepower and drives a three-bladed propeller with variable rotational speed. Its modular design makes it suitable for enthusiasts to build themselves.
Amateur Assembly and Production
Throughout its series production, approximately a dozen Candiana kit examples were built. Its concept as a kitplane makes it an accessible option for enthusiasts looking to construct their own aircraft.
